If you're new to recruiting, the fastest way to build your business is to network with fellow recruiters.  The problem is there is a right way and a wrong way and too many recruiters make the mistake of networking without doing their due diligence.  RecruitAlliance is a great recruiter job board where we have posted both Employer fee paid jobs and Recruiter posted jobs; and you can work on either.  You can also post as many of your jobs  as you require and best of all you always keep 100% of the fee you earn.  If you are new to recruiting ask one of our support personal to provide you with guidelines that will help you successfully build your network and make more placements.

We have been a member of Recruit Alliance  for several years now and have made many (a couple dozen) placements. I believe they will let you try them out for a month. In our case, the monthly fee has been well worth it. Other sites charge you a % of the placement fee which is ends up being much higher.

Their customer support is superb, too.

Networking- absolutely necessary! Decide who you want to target and see where they are (for example, more business people tend to be on LinkedIn, where more teens are on MySpace). Big name sites get a lot of traffic so they are a great place to begin social networking. Twitter and Facebook get a lot of users so you might want to start there!

Good idea, but I don't see the 75 dollars a month cost working out. There's a ton of free services. Or services that only charge if you make a placement, etc.
