Seeking Part-Time Recruiting Opportunity

Hello, all.  I am in Kansas City and am seeking a part-time recruiting opportunity on M/W/F as I teach on T/Th.  Hourly rate, as I am not interested in commission at this time.  I am also open to virtual employment as well.  Give me access to job boards and I will make initial telephone contact with candidates.  Email me to chat or with any potential leads - yorkiemother2000@yahoo.com.  Looking forward to hearing from you.

Recruiting database software

Recruiting Professionals, I was wondering what type of recruiting database software others are using and satisfied with. We were wanting to invest in a new software for tracking, database, etc and wanted to make the right choice. Any advice would be most helpful. Thank you.

Hello all,

Have been on ERE a long time and have recently switched my field of recruiting to Financial Advisors.  Did it briefly a while back but am fully concentrated on it now in my new role with PNC.  Was looking for suggestions on best sourcing areas for these individuals.  Looking for Series 7 and 66 registered advisors.  Any help would be welcome.  Thanks.

Lexington, Ky., dodges fluctuating home prices

In the current housing market, Lexington, Ky., proves that boring is good. Recent home sales and prices there don't stand out.

In July, Lexington's sales were up 3% over a year ago, slightly below the national average and much lower than cities such as Miami, where sales climbed 64%.  More here.

Cincinnati Recruiter Networking Meeting

Our next Cincinnati recruiter networking breakfast will be on Friday, February 27 from 7:30 to 9:00 am at the Panera Bread community room in Milford, OH.

The economy stinks. For the first time in my life, I know great recruiters and HR professionals that are being laid off. Companies are under hiring freezes and laying off employees who were recently hired. TPRs are branching out into career counseling to help job seekers find positions. Some recruiters are assisting in sales. Let's talk about what we have learned as a recruiter in a down economy and share ideas about what we can and are doing to contribute to our companies.

Thanks! Bonita

Lump Sum Relocations

I work for a relocation company that helps corporations relocate their employees. I am interested in the candidates that relocate on their own or with a lump sum.

We have a program that rebates a portion of the real estate commissions back to the buyer or seller. Does this sound like a benefit to the transferee and how would you suggest I promote this program. We also provide counseling and destination information. Basically we would offer every service we provide our corporate clients except for the advancement of funds.

Publishing Openings

By any chance do you work with Publication type of positions in the Midwest. I have a strong candidate who works for a rural newspaper as Publisher.

He graduated for University of Nebraska School of Journalism. His history ranged from Advertising Director then promoted to Publisher many years ago. For the past 8 years he as been Publisher for Midwest paper but now is concerned with economy issues. Please let me know if you service this industry. As we do not. I know this person as we have served on many local community boards together and have worked in concert for the last 8 years. He has asked us to start looking for opportunities for him.
