The GTRN was formed in 2000 by technical recruiters active in their local recruiting associations from all over the United States for the purposes of sharing best practices as well as sharing ideas and success stories from each others associations. They soon learned that there was great value in sharing ideas for speaker, training seminars as well as understanding the variety of technical markets across the country. Technical Recruiter Networks, providing a means for personal and professional networking, an opportunity to exchange opportunities outside each of the local TRNs area and direct access to other intelligent recruiters in different markets. Recruiter Networks from the following states have been associated with the GTRN: Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington D.C. and Wisconsin.
