Looking for an HR Manager in Juarez, MexicoI hate to admit to being so geographically challenged, but as part of a US strategic staffing team that will be taking on global positions, I come to you all for just a bit of insight. Avery Dennison has an HR Management position available in our Juarez, Mexico plant, so we are looking for an HR professional in or around that area including El Paso and others if pertinent. I have just started to network for this one. Are there professional groups or associations in and around the area that would distribute the job description? Also, while we are not using third parties on this one right away, we would like to know which sites would be most effective for posting? Any ideas? I would appreciate any input or advice and if you want to email me for specs on the position, please do so. We are still working on the JD as we understand the complexities and challenges of placing candidates in this area. But, it should be complete soon. Thanks so much! Craig's List to Charge Posting in DallasWhat do you think of this? Craigslist charging $25 for job posts in 8 more cities http://www.reinventingclassifieds.com/2008/10/13/craigslist-charging-25-for-job-posts-in-8-more-cities/ > October 13th, 2008 As of Wednesday (October 15), Craigslist < http://craigslist.org/ > will begin charging $25 for job postings in 8 new cities: Atlanta, Austin,Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami (South Florida), Philadelphia, and Phoenix. The company previously has charged for job ads in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, NYC, Orange County, Portland, Sacramento, Seattle, San Diego, San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington DC. Details are here < http://denver.craigslist.org/forums/?forumID=200803 > , along with Craigslist user commentary on the move. Predictably, there's plenty of outcry mixed with support for the move, which is designed to rid the jobs area of those Craigslist sites of scammers, spammers, and abuse. As always, Craigslist portrays the move as designed to improve the quality of the service, not to make more money for itself. As explained in the note to users: "We have received a lot of feedback over the last couple months, which has generally run in favor of a $25 per ad fee for posting jobs in these eight cities." The fee applies only to job postings, while the "Gigs" categories will remain free; those are for posting "smaller projects, odd jobs, low budget film gigs, openings for personal attendants, etc." For newspapers and other classifieds publishers in those 8 new cities, this probably means more downward price pressure on paid recruitment ads. started Oct. 15, 2008 by

Does EEOC Require Emails?I work for an IT staffing company that does not use an applicant tracking system. We place candidates that are U.S. citizens, green card or h1 holders. I was recently asked by management to provide emails from U.S. citizen and green card holding candidates that have turned down positions or were not a fit for a position that I have ever worked on while employed here(3 months). As you would guess, this was a very time consuming task. My question to anyone that understands EEO more than I do, are the actual emails required to comply with EEO? In my previous recruiting positions, only information that we were required to put into the ATS were sex and citizenship. This was sufficient information for any EEO reports. The actual emails were not required. started Oct. 15, 2008 by
