The following two positions came across my desk today and I thought you might know some people who would good candidates for the opportunities. Here are the details:
The first opportunity is with a start up company in Austin that is looking for a creative, visionary VP or President of Sales and Marketing with live entertainment business acumen; recent Web 2.0-SaaS background; and proven track record of success in the planning and successful scaling of sales and marketing at venture-backed start-ups. The company offers a young, fun environment and delivers cutting edge software to the entertainment industry. This is definitely a team oriented atmosphere, and the ideal candidate would be a key team player. Initially, this individual would also be directly responsible for closing higher end deals, but would ideally hire on talent for three different divisions as the company grows. This position reports directly to the CEO, and offers a base and options of 100K+ dependant upon experience. Options are also available.
The second opportunity is for a biotech and pharmaceutical company in Ft. Worth looking to hire an E-Marketing Maven. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electronic marketing areas including: corporate websites, database marketing, webinars, literature and program fulfillment, and other emerging technologies. Must be a strategic and creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to measure and evaluate web analytics against objectives, and optimize results based on performance. Must have a successful track record of effectively marketing to multiple audiences, such as B to B and consumer markets. The company is offering a relocation package and a salary of up to 115K per year with benefits.
