Hi everyone. My question seems elementary compared to all the other postings i've read but I'm new to the group and could use some help. I have 6 years experience as a tech recruiter. Some corporate, Mostly agency experience. I haven't been a recruiter since 2001 and wanted to know where I could go to get info on the current marketplace since 9/11. I really want to recruit again but don't know where to start. I want to be able to interview confidently so your help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for your help.

Hi.. and um.. Welcome home. :D

Like yourself I was a returning recruiter to our industry. When I left all was done by fax and paper resumes, and boy did it change..

You are ERE.. that is great company to start out with. In addition to that I am quite fond of the work being done by Bill Vick-- he interviews professionals on recruiting tools and whats working today http://www.xtremerecruiting.org/.
