    Proposal Writers follow this discussion

    started 20 months ago by

I am looking for suggestions regarding the best job boards to post a proposal writer position. I have posted the position on the Association of Proposal Management Professionals site without success.

The position is also posted on Monster,etc..

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

Most of those kind of people are not looking on Moster, CareerBuilder or anyother site on a regular basis. Your best bet is to talk to your other contacts and try to network into those people,

A word to the wise, most of those guys are going to be happy and not go after a job that doesn't have a lot of sizzle.

      Hi Jeanne -

I would suggest "refreshing" your post on all the current sites you've posted to - sometimes if it's been several weeks the posting has aged and can be buried under other jobs......... I might also chat with the hiring manager or staff to see if there are any more local associations/organizations or websites they frequent for possible places to post and network. Maybe STC.org would work for you.

What about your local paper's online listings.....what website are they affiliated with - posting there may be advantageous......out where I am it's usually a good bet to post on Washingtonpost.com if you've got an opening in the DC Metro area but if you've got an opening in the suburb I live in you can also post to jobfetch.com.

If you're looking for individuals with clearances it may be worthwhile to check out a site like clearancejobs.com.

And there's aggregators like Indeed.com - you might want to take a peek out there and see if your jobs are showing as well.

      Best, Kelly
