How do you handle unresponsive clients?

Hi everyone!

I was just filling out a questionaire from a prospective client and I came across an interesting question. The one question in particular asked how my firm handles non responsive clients.

First I wondered...hmmmm....is this their way of telling me they are a pain in the u know what to deal with? And, why would they want to know that? Will I stalk them? Will I disparage them? What would I say in this response? How would I answer this question?

So, I decided to put it out to the experts, and I think it's a question I don't see addressed enough. How do YOU handle non responsive clients? We all have clients that don't respond with feedback on candidates, who don't respond at all to our marketing efforts, who don't act fast enough with offers, there are so many different ways clients are unresponsive. But again - how do YOU handle them in any situation? And, how would you recommend I answer this question in the particular questionaire I am completing?

THANKS! Debbi Ballard Director of Operations Sanford Barrows Group 305-999-6243

Cold Calling

I am wondering if anybody can give me some advice on cold calling tactics. I am working with a staffing firm focused in IT, Accounting, and Engineering talents. It seems as though everybody I call, I get their voicemail, and never get a return call. Can anybody help me get feedback, or is there a better approach I should be taking?
