    Jacksonville-based on-line job board JobsDirectUSA.com and the Omni Jacksonville Hotel present the Northeast Florida Fall Career Expo which will take place on Wednesday October 14th at the Omni Hotel in downtown Jacksonville. The Northeast Florida Fall Career Expo will be free and open to the general public from 12 - 8 PM and feature the following events: Employer Career Fair, Job Symposium and Panel Discussion, On site Interview Sessions, Job Seeker Workshops and a Business After Hours Networking Mixer by PinkSlipMixers.com.

    The goal of the single day event is to help as many Job Seekers on Florida's First Coast find jobs by bringing together Jacksonville's local business and HR leadership communities with career minded professionals seeking immediate employment.

    Thousands are expected to attend what will be Jacksonville's largest Job Search and Networking production of the year. Currently Jacksonville's unemployment rate stands at 10.5%, higher than the national average.
