Another ATS question? follow this discussion

    started 6 months ago by

I've researched past ERE discussions but here's one more. Our need is NOT for a resume data base. Our need IS for an ATS that: (1) is for ~5 users; (2) cost effective; (3) tracks candidates/input data; (4) tracks job orders. Somenames that keep cropping up include BigBiller, Cats, Sendouts, PCrecruiter, CBiz. The ATS can be basic but must be reliable etc. Thoughts? Thanks.

      Marilyn,

I second Sarah White; I would certainly put Akken on your short list.  www.akken.com.  It's a great product run by an excellent team of people with a lot of experience in supporting the needs of smaller teams.  www.akken.com (based in Nashua, NH).

Marilyn, As a previous user, I recommend a next generation ATS called TalentCentral.  Cost Effective, tracks candidate, calls, correspondence, flexible, scalable, customizable.  Search is patent-pending.  You can search and report on custom fields.  The system tracks job orders and even provides sourcing capabilities using the latest Social Networks.  Job board is provided with this product and integrated resume aggregator and job board aggregator.  Reliability of this product is unreal.  Currently 55,000+ companies on this platform.  Please contact me (jackie@jobscience.com)

Marilyn, looking over your website and your recruiting sourcing/search offerings, it seems that a basic decent contact management system might just fit your needs at this time. I would definitely consider an on-demand solution to eliminate IT hassles. To that end, I'd suggest www.salesforce.com ($9/month/user) or www.sugarcrm.com ($9/month/user).

If you want to step up to a more robust system for 3rd-party recruiting, there are plenty to choose from, as have been noted here. To which I'd add www.pointwing.com.

      Marilyn,

I would highly suggest looking into CATS. I am a recruiter and have no ties whatsoever to them except of course the $29 per month I give to them. The resume parsing ability is GREAT!

I believe their website is www.catsone.com

      Hi Marilyn,

Bond Adapt is widely known as an ATS, CRM software focused more on the Enterprise staffing companies.  However, I owned a small recruiting/staffing firm and while there purhcased Adapt for our firm.  I have transitioned over to Bond now and working with their small business team which is dedicated to companies of your size.  While the pricing is affordable you also get the functionality of an enterprise staffing company which will allow you to grow your business.  If you would like more information feel free to email me at aschleicher@bond-us.com

      Marilyn -

It sounds as though you don't need an ATS - rather recruiting software (and yes, there is a difference).  Your focus seems to be more agency based and here are some of the products I would suggest taking a look at (in recruiting software):

      maxhire.com, akken.com, pcrecruiter.com

      Marilyn,

You may not be aware, but we have just added a fully-integrated internet candidate sourcing tool in cBizOne Pro at no cost to users.  Pricing for cBizOne Pro starts at $49 per user.  Let me know if you'd like to attend a web cast demo of cBizOne and our sourcing tool, SourceFirst and I'll send you some available times.

Please visit our site cBizSoft.com for more information or you can contact me directly at 972-713-3888 X24 or bob@cbizsoft.com.

      Thanks

      Hi Marilyn,

iCIMS is the #1 provider of talent acquisition (ATS) solutions for small & medium sized businesses, so it seems like it might fit your business needs pretty well.

Part of iCIMS' strength is its 'back to the basics' philosphy of having the strongest fundamentals, such as reliability & ease of use, paired with the best customer support around.

I am admittedly an iCIMS employee, but you might want to check out a demo to see if it's the right fit for your organization. http://www.icims.com/tour/9964/2501

Feel free to shoot me an email or give me a call if you have any questions.

      Best,

      Caitrin
