    Hello All-

    I am currently conducting a search for a Senior Recruiter to support our 100+ employee IT division.  The position will require the candidate to direct the activities of all IT-related hiring.  Candidates who exhibit extensive IT product knowledge as well as a MINIMUM of 10 years experience in a CORPORATE HR recruitment environment will be considered.  I am happy to chat with anyone interested.  Please feel free to refer your colleagues or if you have any ideas for targetting these individuals, suggestions are welcome.

      Good morning Cindy,

      Certainly.  Below is the job description.  The key to this position is the 10+ years experience in an IT recruiter position within a corporate HR department.  Someone directly from a staffing agency will not work.

      GENERAL SUMMARY:
      This position is responsible for high volume recruitment activities, focused on our growing Information Technology department. He/she will manage all recruitment activities within the assigned area to include: developing an appropriate applicant pool of qualified candidates, creating job descriptions, networking and cold calling candidates, as well as partnering with Hiring Managers to assess needs.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


      • Responsible for full-lifecycle recruitment from creating job descriptions, initial recruitment efforts, to the final hiring and on-boarding process of new employees
      • Consult with Hiring Managers to determine current and future recruitment needs (needs assessment)
      • Partner with business and functional leaders to develop and implement programs to support business needs; and lead recruiting projects or actively participate on committees to improve processes that add value to the assigned area
      • Develop and implement various recruitment strategies to source professionals in assigned areas
      • Place ads/postings on various internet job boards, society and association websites, print advertisements, etc.
      • Prepare various reports in Excel and/or Word, track advertising, and other HR related reports

       

      Experience:
      REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:


      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or related field required.
      • Demonstrated experience and success recruiting top talent in the Information Technology and Information Systems area
      • Must have a minimum of 10 years high volume staffing/recruiting experience in a corporate environment and a general understanding of HR requirements and employment law
      • Ability to influence and work effectively with diverse teams is essential
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present to a senior level audience
      • Must have demonstrated experience recruiting a diverse set of technology positions and experience identifying emerging technology trends
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, high energy, excellent follow-up skills, tenacity, and strong relationship building skills are required
      • Must possess ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
      • Must be proficient in MS Office applications and have experience managing the recruitment process utilizing an applicant tracking system
