As predicted, MySpace continued restructuring, with layoffs, ect. To be fair, many companies have had layoffs, including your perhaps. Even google had layoffs.
MySpace is said to be cutting 300 European and closing 4 international offices with others under review.
MySpace already laid off about of its staff US staff, down to 1000 people, with no current plans for more layoffs.
So, what are companies doing now on MySpace. What's some current live examples that you can point too?
Quicken Loans once (maybe still is) used the site for recruiting sales and finance professionals. To source employees (especially, hourly employees, entry-level employees, military people leaving the service, college students, and mid-level management) myspace has show a good place to be. To find software engineers one could start with Programming Language Development group, other C++, PHP, Java, Basic, Python, Actionscript groups. Create a profile page friend people, send content; jobs, articles, video, etc...
So, what recruitment marketing/sourcing is going on there now?
