May's Wiki Social is being co-hosted with Pinkslipmixers.com and newly-formed Slipsquad.com. Our last Wiki Social was a great turnout, as we had over 70 people from all over the Bay area in attendance. It was a great opportunity for people to network with other Job Seekers, as well as Entrepreneurs and Recruiters. Several people came up to me after the last event and commented on how many new connections that they made, and how glad they were for the opportunity to meet people from various industries and backgrounds.
We're expecting to have over 100 people in attendance for May's event, so there will be no shortage of opportunities to meet even more new people and gain some great exposure for your career or business idea. We will also be serving some light appetizers at this event for those that don't have a chance to grab a bite to eat beforehand.
And as always, even if you're not currently in the job market, this will still be a great opportunity to expand upon your network and promote who you are. We look forward to seeing you soon!
