One of the hassles of becoming a LinkedIn promiscuous linker is that for a long time now it has been impossible to gets stats on the size of your network. Well it seems that the good folks at LinkedIn have fixed that problem. Try the following:

1)      Login to LinkedIn and expand the Contacts menu in the upper left hand corner of the LinkedIn home page by clicking the “+”.

2)      Click on Network Statistics

You should see all sorts of statistics about your network including the number of 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd level connections, the total users you can contact through an introduction, and a breakdown of your network by region and industry. Cool!
