I wrote recently here about a new people search engine called Spock. I quickly gave out the three invitations that I had over the Memorial Day weekend. The good news is that Spock gave me more invitations to give to you. The first 4 people who request an invitation here as a comment get them!

    Yes, sometimes Pipl has "paid results" for background checks - much like Zabasearch, but I find most of the useful data is free.

    I like to use ziki to "consolidate all my stuff" but I'm lookin for other similar services like wink and yoname, etc.

    Hi Shally,

    pipl.com is cool although you do have to wade through results that require you to pay for data. It?s early days for spock.com and I like the direction it?s going but it?s still in beta. We?ll see how it develops. I read your blog about pipl and agree with some of what you say. I like to have the ability to consolidate information about me. Search for ?Simon Meth? on spock and you now get a very clean result. Zoominfo and spock allow you to do that. Does pipl? Of course spock will have to ?go deep? or they won?t survive. Anyway, my reason for posting about spock was to allow folks to check it out for themselves without having to wait for an invitation. Lots of folks have taken me up on the offer!
