Home Depot announced yesterday that the company was restructuring its Store Human Resource Managers. The position is being eliminated effective May 1, 2008. In its place stores will replace with hourly Human Resource personnell and each district will include 3 Human Resource Generalists and 1 Human Resource Manager. Current estimates are that 2200 positions are being eliminated with 1200-1300 Human Resource professionals being retained.
