Workyourcareer's June Wiki Social will once again be a fun and informative mixer to be co-hosted with Pinkslipmixers.com and Slipsquad.com. In addition to networking with fellow Job Seekers and entrepreneurs, we will also be inviting recruiters from some of the top Bay area companies that are currently hiring to attend this event as well. This event will also focus around the theme of "Creating your Consulting Career", which simply put, means how to focus your job search efforts on consulting positions instead of permanent positions. With companies still very reluctant to add permanent headcount because of the uncertain economy, most employers are now focusing 100% of their efforts on hiring contractors. We'll be providing tips and information as to how you can tailor your job search to match how companies are managing their hiring process through consultants, how you can market yourself to potential clients, etc.
