I know there are many of you who wish you were able to make it to Florida next month for ERE Expo 2009 Fall, but in this new world of tight training and travel budgets just can't swing it this year.
Well, I can help. Here is your chance to win a free ticket to ERE Expo 2009 Fall from September 9 - 11 at the Westin Diplomat Resort and Spa in Hollywood, FL.
How it works:
Starting Monday, August 10 - through 12:00 p.m. ET on Friday, August 14, tell us through your Twitter account in 140 characters or less why you want to attend the Expo, and make sure to include the #ereexpo hashtag in your post.
That's it!
If you don't have a Twitter account, you can also enter the contest right here on community.ere.net by updating your status and using the #ereexpo hashtag.
You can enter once a day, so if you really want to go, make sure you increase your chances of winning by entering five times!
And for an extra bonus chance, if you post your entry to your ERE Community profile status, and link your profile account to your twitter account, you will double your chances of winning. If you are unsure how to link your two profiles, you can get all of the details here (very easy, I promise!)
How do I win?
On Friday, I will take all of the entries and put them in an Excel spreadsheet, and then pick numbers out of a hat to pick the winners.
What will I win?
- Grand Prize (1 winner) - 1 Full Conference pass to ERE Expo 2009 Fall including 2 pre-conference workshops (a $2,090 value)
- 1st Prize (2 winners) - 2 nights (September 9 & September 10) stay at the Westin Diplomat. You'll have to buy the ticket, but we'll put you up! (a $400+ value)
- 2nd Prize (3 winners) - a 50% discount off your conference ticket
The (not so small) print:
If you have already registered for the expo, you obviously have the budget approved to attend, so this contest is not for you.
Also, as much as I love seeing people talking about the expo and helping us spread the word, I hate spam! So anyone who enters more than once per day is automatically disqualified from the contest.
So that's it! I wish you luck, and if you have any questions about how the contest works, contact me here on my community profile, via Twitter, or email me at scott@ere.net.
I hope to be able to welcome you, along with the hundreds of other recruiting leaders who will join us next month at ERE Expo 2009 Fall!
