Fordyce Forum wrapup follow this blog post

Last week was the first ever Fordyce Forum, and the show was an incredible gathering of nearly 200 of leading contingency recruiters and Big Billers. But don't take my word for it - check out what Dave has to say.

After the Forum, I pieced together some clips of Paul Hawkinson, The Fordyce Letter's legendary editor. It's my first attempt at video, so please forgive the poor production values (and yes, the aspect ratio is all wrong) and pay attention to what the man has to say.

Every word is a gem.

  Dave I was going to post about this on my blog but here is a good spot to say thanks mucho to you and your whole group (with special shout to Danielle).

  Again, compliments on your foresight to invest in Fordyce, and to put together an event targeted toward the unique readership of power recruiters.

  Like ERE, our firm is on the lookout for new ways to synthesize the best of the distinct worlds of TPR and HR recruiting, without losing focus on the key differences and challenges facing each.

  I knew when I saw people like Stacy Ethun and Jeff Kaye as presenters that the event would be are fine venue to show our wares; both are evangelical about our solutions, and with their energy, good things are going happen.

  The TPR focus at Fordyce is a smoothly segmented compliment to the HR oriented ER expos, and we are highly pleased with our investment as a sponsor and exhibitor this year. Its great too see the solid feedback on the show, and we are looking forward to future editions.
