Atlanta Recruiting Roadshow - Complimentary event Sept 25th follow this blog post

Shrinking budgets are making low-cost sourcing techniques an absolute requirement for recruiters who want to stay competitive. Sadly, most of the low-cost tools require some expertise in order to yield results efficiently. With the time pressures recruiters already face, learning to use these tools has become the new challenge.

Going to conferences like SourceCon and listening to experts like Glenn Gutmacher present ?Sourcing on a shoe-string budget? is an effective way to get lots of training in one concise package, and also benefit from some great networking opportunities.

But not everyone can make the trip, or afford the admission.

Free local events like John Sumser?s Recruiting Roadshow help fill that gap. Leveraging local talent, these events bring learning opportunities to locals who simply can?t make the long trips to attend the large national conferences. On Tuesday, September 25th, John Sumser and some of his friends from the Atlanta?s recruiting leadership have organized a complimentary day of learning, networking and community building. Hosted on the campus of Georgia Tech, this event promises to be extraordinary.

I?m honored to tell you that I was selected to present a learning track called "The Sourcing Guru?s Guide to Leveraging LinkedIn." This 90-minute interactive session - and the full day of events - is being offered to you with the compliments of JobMachine, Inc. and Diversity.com with lunch graciously provided by Arbita

So, if you are in Atlanta, and this is a free and local event, you have no more excuses to get out and learn, make new friends, and get involved in your local community. See you at the Roadshow!

Glenn your presentation kicked some major "behind" as usual - very informative and immediately actionable. Thank you!

Glad to have received such nice comments about my Sourcing on a Budget session, and thx for mentioning it here. Looking forward to next year's, which will surely be even larger.

P.S. Congrats on your blog being mentioned among the top 100 in HR (it's listed as #93, but isn't really that low because they break the list into categories): http://www.businesscreditcards.com/bootstrapper/top-100-hr-bloggers

HEllo Shally, Well here is the million dollar question, "Are you guys traveling around the west at all? Like Texas" I would love to sit in on what you will be teaching and talking about. I have a virtual company and we have thought of ways to bring the cost of overhead and other areas to afford the cuts in Talent Aquisition. I would love to hear back from you~ Regards, Kathy Massa kmassa@mastercruits.com
