I've been keeping a keen eye on this company for a couple of year. In fact, I even told a few friends about it while the site was still in its infancy and exploring how to best serve our industry.
I'm blogging about this now because JobKabob has begun offering recruiters the ability to post jobs for free.
Yeah, I know, free job postings... how "2006" and boring!
Free job postings don't turn my head, but what does is that with one single post JobKabob distributed to Google Base, SimplyHired, Indeed, America's Job Bank, Jobster, The Ladders and several other sites. They then collect a detailed profile on candidates who express interested in your jobs, and they keep track of your candidates all for free.
Some of you may recall Warren Bare, Jobkabob?s founder, as one of the pioneers of online recruitment advertising back with the launch of Headhunter.net. In 1999 Headhunter.net went public and was sold to CareerBuilder in 2001 for $200 million.
