  Brenden folks would want a proxy to find the real answer(s) to the real question:  what do you dream for yourself/how do you see yourself in the world/are you on the way up, down, or sideways/what are you going to do with your life ?  

  I understand the meaning behind the question, but I agree that the form "where do you see yourself in five years' is a trite and lazy way to try to find it.....
