Doom, Goom or Trip to the Moon? follow this blog post

I feel for my peers who are suffering and closing their businesses because of the economy, but I quite frankly am tired of hearing about the doom and gloom!  Get off your seats and do something different if you are financially starving.  Yes, recruiting is down and companies are not hiring like before or paying fees if they can avoid it.  But, that doesn't mean you need to suffer because your clients are gone!

Last year was a great year for my business.  I redesigned the business to use my subject matter expertise in other areas and BINGO got business with military contractors and even won a contract with the US Department of Defense!  This year is going to be even a better year as I work towards more business with State and Federal government agencies.  Why?  Because they have the money and if they are going to spend it then why not spend it on my company??

The little extra effort that it takes to learn about bids and solicitations and the few hours to write a proposal could be the difference in dying or surviving.  Use your strengths and your experience, your knowledge and your skills and develop a summary describing your subject matter expertise.  Share it with others with whom you can partner with and develop future business with.

Forty years ago man walked on the moon.  It was a heck of a lot harder to do that than just put your thoughts together with a little creative thinking to generate success!
